What is Shascade Community Services (SCS), Inc.?
Shascade Community Services, Inc., provides community services for people with developmental disabilities. Headquartered in Redding, California, SCS was founded as a non-profit corporation by concerned parents whose dream of programs and services for their children became a reality in 1960.

All SCS programs provide education, social activities, training, and daily living skills to assist the disabled in their homes and/or work places. This is done by evaluating and assessing their needs, providing care, skills job placement, adaptive aids and other services that contribute toward independence.
