Mobile Day Program
Mission Statement:
“Improving quality of life for individuals with disabilities
through activities in their home”
Services offered:
The Mobile Day Program provides a variety of services based on the
specific needs of individuals. Activities consumers may participate
in throughout the program may include arts and crafts, cooking,
gardening, table games, music, and planned community outings.
Technology activities are tailored to each person’s
capability. Adaptive switch training is used to allow consumers
greater control of their environment.
Sensory stimulation includes activities for touch,
taste, smell, sight and hearing. This could be accomplished by offering
activities involving music, videos, sand and water therapy and touch
and feel boards. Outdoor walks and activities would also enable
the participants to experience the sights, sounds, feelings and
smells of nature.
Community outings are planned for all consumers. Outings
are designed to enhance participation and enjoyment of community
activities. Frequency of the outings are determined by each individual
consumer’s needs.
Mobile Day Program operates Monday thru Friday from
8:00 am to 2:00 pm excluding Holidays. Our hours are flexible, as
needed, to accommodate special needs of the individual or residential
facility served.
